MISSOURI FLOODING - SIGNS IN THE EARTH

A state of emergency has been declared for more than half of the counties in Missouri and 22 people have died in floods throughout the state. Officials said the flooding has topped at least 10 levees and hundreds of structures have been damaged, or destroyed.

Ohio:  On July 3, 2013, a vehicle was swallowed by a giant sinkhole in Ohio. The driver, Pamela Knox, miraculously survived the plunge and she climbed out of the sinkhole on a ladder provided by authorities. The hole was estimated to be at least 10 feet deep. On November 28, 2012, a sinkhole opened up the size of four football fields, over 30 feet deep, which collapsed part of highway 516 near Dover, Ohio.
